Eric, his twin brother Aaron, and older brother Bryce were inseparable until Eric’s death in 2006 from malignant brain tumors.
Aaron and his mom, Angela, baked as a way to cope with their grief. Initially giving away, then selling their treats, word spread about Aaron's delicious creations. Aaron decided to donate a portion of Doughjangles' profits to those groups which assisted the family during Eric's illness.
